A little bit about myself to give the blog context. I am a guy in my mid 20s, with a 8-4 job in IT and a passion for staying active, eating right, and helping others. Whether it’s running half marathons, rangar relay races (which I highly recommend!), mentoring and tutoring middle school kids on academics, like skills, and cooking, or learning how to play guitar, I’m always looking for ways to better myself and others. I enjoy constantly pushing myself outside of my comfort zone, and also happened to marry the most caring and empathetic (and conveniently my best friend) in the world. Cooking has become a way to relax and express my creativity, while reaching my overall goal of mental, physical, and emotional wellness. Simple put, eat good, feel good. I am a big advocate of overall wellness, including natural, complete diets, adequate levels of sleep, emotional support from friends and family, and enjoying the little things in life.
